Who we are

susie.shop is a small independent store selling handmade leather goods. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Using the site

You may browse and buy for personal use. Please do not scrape the site, resell our images or text, or attempt to interfere with how it works.

Products and descriptions

Everything is made by hand from natural leather, so no two pieces are identical. Grain, tone and small marks vary between hides, and colours may look different on different screens. Measurements are approximate. If a piece is not what you expected, our returns policy applies.

Prices and currency

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude import duties and local taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient. We may change prices at any time, but the price you paid is the price on your order confirmation. If a price is listed in error we will contact you before shipping, and you may cancel.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, if a price was listed in error, or if we suspect fraud — in which case you are refunded in full.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. By submitting payment you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.

Shipping

Processing times and delivery estimates are set out on our shipping page. Estimates are not guarantees: carriers delay parcels and customs holds them. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Personalisation

You are responsible for the spelling and content you submit. We may refuse text that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes someone else’s rights. Personalised items cannot be returned.

Returns

Our returns policy applies and forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

All photographs, text and designs on this site belong to us. Please do not reproduce them without written permission.

Reviews and user content

If you leave a review or send us a photo, you give us permission to show it on the site and in our marketing, with your first name and no other personal details. Reviews must be honest and lawful. We may remove content that is abusive or misleading.

Liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for normal wear and patina. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the place where this store is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that place. If you are a consumer, you keep the full protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order.
